Traditional chocolates with typical flavors of Brazil are on display
at stands C 46 and C25 - in Paris
A delegation of Brazilian companies takes part in the Salon du Chocolat from October 30 to November 4 in Paris. Among them, award winning companies such as Nugali Chocolates, which won three medals - gold, silver and bronze - at the International Chocolate Awards 2018, Americas stage.
The Brazilian chocolate manufacturer is part of a trade mission organized by the Brazilian Network of International Business Centers (Rede CIN), the National Confederation of Industry (CNI), in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil) and support from the Brazilian Association of the Chocolate, Cocoa, Peanut, Candy and Derivatives Industries (ABICAB).
The Brazilian products will be in stands C 46 and C25 and the representatives of the companies will have business meetings with potential distributors of their products. Among Brazilians, Nugali's bean-to-bar chocolates, with traditional flavors and combinations of typically Brazilian fruits, were awarded medals after competing with 800 registered products from 130 companies from 16 different countries in the South America, Central and North, at this year's International Chocolate Awards. Nugali Chocolate ao Leite 45% Cacau - Gold Medal at the International Chocolate Award 2018 (Americas stage) was also considered the 'Best in Competition - overall winner', which means that the product was chosen as one of the two best products in the whole competition, and recognized as the best milk chocolate in the Americas.
Cacau em Flor com Pimenta Rosa - launched in 2018, was awarded a silver medal in the category "Bitter Chocolates with Flavors". The pink peppercorn
is (Schinus molle) Brazilian tree's fruit, gently spicy and aromas that harmonize with the Brazilian cocoa used in the bitter chocolate 63% of the line Cacau em Flor.
Tablete Chocolate ao Leite com Castanha do Pará - won the Bronze Medal at the Americas stage of the International Chocolate Awards. Pieces of Brazil nut with milk chocolate, in a delicate combination of flavors.
Tablete Cacau em Flor com Cupuaçu: a delicate blade of cupuaçu crunch, native to the Amazon rainforest, surrounded by 63% bitter chocolate, made with award-winning cocoa grown in Bahia. Brazilianness is also highlighted in the intense aromatic notes of cupuaçu. It is free from gluten, lactose and soy. Received the bronze medal in the world final of the International Chocolate Awards 2017.
Serra do Conduru Dark 80% - the first chocolate produced in Brazil, Nugali Serra do Conduru 80% received a Bronze at the Worldwide International Chocolate Awards 2016 and a Silver at the International Chocolate Awards - America and Pacific 2016.
Cacau em Flor Amargo 70% cacau - made with Brazilian cocoa grown in Bahia and Pará, of Trinitarian and Scavina varieties, rich in banana hints, citrus fruits and tropical fruits.
Cacau em Flor com Açaí - açaí, a Brazilian fruit that has conquered the world, in a crunchy combination with bitter chocolate 70% of the Cacau em Flor line.
