ABICAB AND ABIMAPI WILL PARTICIPATE AT YUMMEX 2016
Middle East’s main Trade Fair of confectionary & snacks will have 10 Brazilians companies attending it.
São Paulo, October 2016 - Middle East's largest trade show in the confectionery, biscuits and snacks segment, Yummex Middle East 2016 will be from November 7 to 9. The event will be held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and ten Brazilian companies will be attending it. Four of these companies are linked to the Brasil Sweets and Snacks Project, the export promotion project of the Brazilian Chocolate, Cocoa, Peanuts, Candies and Byproducts Industry Association (ABICAB). The other six companies are linked to the Brazilian Biscuits, Pasta and Industrialized Breads & Cakes Project from the Brazilian Manufacturers Association of Biscuits, Pasta and Industrialized Breads and Cakes (ABIMAPI), both are partnerships developed along with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil).
Docile, Montevérgine, Riclan and Toffano will present their new product releases at Yummex 2016. The 2015 edition generated impressive results. Around 16 thousand visitors attended the event, which enabled network with 344 new prospects.
"We have the best expectations for the fair. We will prepare the sales schedule for 2017 with our current clients as well as prospect new ones in countries where we are not yet represented”, declares Ediane Gollub, Export Sales Docile. Maxmallow Heart (strawberry flavor) and Pastille 16.5g (stick pelletized with fruit, grape, strawberry and tutti frutti flavors) are the releases that will be made by the company at the Fair.
"Our focus at the Fair will be our Nougat Bar and Wafer Rolls Line. We currently export to over 15 countries, and Torrone is our main product” states João Ricardo, export manager of Montevérgine. "The Wafer Rolls Line will be released in a “Small snack size” packaging, focused on the children niche, he completes. According to João Ricardo, Yummex has been important for acquiring new customers, as the United Arab Emirates and North Africa are strategic markets for the company.
My Toffee Greek yogurt filled with Passion Fruit and Freegells Gum Cinnamon flavor are the products that will be shown by Riclan. "We expect to present Riclan´s line to new prospects in the Middle East and Africa, as well as increase business with existing customers in our portfolio which will be at the event", announces Luis Guilherme Fiorio, from Riclan´s Export Department.
Together, The Brazilian Manufacturers Association of Biscuits, Pasta and Industrialized Breads and Cakes (ABIMAPI), ABICAB and Apex-Brasil will see at the Brazil stand so Brazilian companies will be able to present their products to buyers from over 86 countries. Bauducco, Dallas, Marilan, Millen, Multibrands Export and M. Dias Branco are companies associated with ABIMAPI and will also attend the event.
The brand Bauducco is the world's leading manufacturer of Panettone production, also stands out as one of the leading suppliers of wafer biscuits worldwide, will be attending the event for the second time. Marilan, driven by the success of 2015 at the same fair, will take to Yummex new products of the brand’s lines that are already established in the region. M. Dias Branco, one of the largest food manufacturers in the world, will be part of Yummex Fair for the first time, seeking to strengthen the relationship already established in the region. Multibrands and Millen, companies that enable international business for Brazilian Companies, and Dallas which manufacturers biscuits and similar products, will be attending as exhibitors for the first time at Yummex. They will make product tests and evaluate feedback.
